EDUCATIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY POSTS BY DR. SABRINA J GRAY

A woman performs good morning exercise with arch in her back key words from accompanying text

Low Back Pain with Good Mornings?

Good mornings are a fantastic workout for the true core, glutes, hamstrings, and calves when done with the correct intraabdominal pressure to keep the spine in neutral (diaphragm lined up with pelvic floor). If you are only feeling the low back working or feeling low back pain following, you are probably doing them like the photo. Physical Therapy isn't just for treating injuries. As a movement expert, I am here to help you prevent them too. Fitness forward Physical Therapist serving Branford, Guilford, & Madison CT.
